There are two audio profiles available for MiCloud, Speaker and Headset profile. The following settings are unique to each audio profile:
Speaker Settings
The Speaker Settings page is used to configure the sound devices will MiCloud use in the Speaker Profile.
Use the Speaker Profile when using your computer as a speaker phone.
You can select the audio devices that should be used in the Speaker Profile. We recommend to select the audio device that is connected to the computer speakers.
Headset Settings
The Headset Settings page is used to configure the sound devices will use MiCloud in the Headset Profile.
Use the Headset Profile when using your computer with a headset.
Apart from basic functionality from any USB headsets, support for call control is available for Plantronics headsets. Note that Plantronics does not support desktop connection via Mac’s Bluetooth. Plantronics headset support is based on Plantronics Hub 3.6.
You can select the audio devices that should be used in the Headset Profile. For Input and Output, select the audio device that is connected to the computer’s headset. This audio device typically belongs to a connected USB headset. For the Ringer device, select an audio device that is connected to the computer speakers.
