Call Recording Terms and Conditions


MiCloud Call Recording is a hosted service using leading technology from iReCall™ to deliver fully compliant and encrypted Call Recording capabilities. MiCloud Call Recording is an optional value-added service for customers who are interested in a fully hosted, automatic web-based call recording solution which complies with local legislation and the regulatory framework. Customers can choose which extensions need to be recorded and recordings are automatically transferred to the iReCall cloud server. Access to all recordings is provided through a permission-based web portal.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Words and phrases defined in the Service Description shall have the same meaning in this Service Order.

  1. Customers are charged on a per-extension or per minute basis each month and billed in 30-day cycles.
  2. Customers may scale the service up or down by adding or removing users at any time.
  3. Call recordings will be securely stored in the iReCall™ servers for a period of 5 years and will be available for as long as the service remains active. Thereafter, calls retained in the system can be exported to a removable hard drive in an unencrypted format or can be stored for a further 5 years for an additional fee.
  4. Recordings will be permanently deleted from the system 90 days after the 6th year anniversary.
  5. All recorded calls are stored in a proprietary format which is discoverable and accessible for playback via the online interface.
  6. Recordings can be manually extracted and automatically emailed to a specified email address. These recordings are unencrypted sent in MP3 format.
  7. MiCloud Call Recording only provides recording for external calls and not calls between extension users in the same organisation.
  8. By utilizing the MiCloud Hosted Call Recording service you are bound by and agree to the terms of use between iReCall™ and you as the user as specified on the iReCall™ website. These terms and conditions may change from time to time and the most updated version will apply and you need to frequently review these directly on iReCall’s™ website www.irecall.co.za
  9. MiCloud Hosted Call Recording does not carry a formal service level however multiple measures are in place to minimize downtime or service interruption.
  10. MiCloud and its network and upstream providers cannot be held liable for lost and/or corrupted recordings and cannot be held liable for any damages or financial compensation that might arise from using the Hosted Call Recording solution.
